Ever fancied a miniature ancestral-style portrait of yourself - in chicken form? Yes? Then you’ve come to the right place! Available for a limited time or until I run out of frames!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
After the check out, please email several photos of yourself, a family member or friend to studio@hollyfrean.com and a little background info on why you’d like me to do this for you (I will be channelling you as I work). I will then paint a single original painting of you in a parallel universe where you exist as a fine rare breed CHICKEN: magnificent, colourful and distinctive, feathered with your own existential feelings and chicken-flavoured dreams… It will arrive gift wrapped, complete with miniature gold frame around 1:12 scale. Dimensions will vary depending on what I have in stock and what I think best suits my subject, maximum around 5-9 cm in length (either metal or gold painted plaster or resin moulding) see example photos to get the idea. I am open to painting more than one subject in a frame. The possibilities are ENDLESS. Artistic licence will be applied liberally. Guaranteed to amuse.
SMALL PRINT:
I will need up to a month to execute and send your order from the date your photos are received. We ship worldwide* from the UK and the cost is determined at the checkout. All orders are mailed first class with a tracking number and will need to be signed for so please provide a mailing address where someone can take delivery of your package. I promise to mail the work within the month timeframe but I cannot be responsible for items held at customs or any other unexpected delays as they are out of my control (and annoyingly unpredictable these days). You will be automatically added to my quarterly mailing list to be kept abreast of future exhibitions, commissions and projects bur you are of course free to unsubscribe any time.
* Occasionally the shop tells you that we don’t ship to your region but this isn’t true! We don’t know why this happens so please email studio@hollyfrean.com with any concerns and we’ll sort manually, if necessary. Technology isn’t always our friend 😜
