The 2025 relaunch of Holly’s original dachshund painted in gouache and overlaid with monotype line, which sold on the opening night of the 2022 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. Just as crisp and juicy as the original, this beautifully printed giclée is a convenient size for framing and is embossed with Holly’s unique seal at the bottom right hand corner.
FRAMING TIP: to achieve a trompe-l’œil effect so that the dachshund appears to float up from the paper, we recommend using a simple charcoal stained box frame, dry mounting the print and setting it back from the glass behind white slips, which should match the background as far as possible. Museum grade non-reflective glass will give it extra protection and ensure the print lasts many decades to come (if kept out of direct sunlight) and prevent reflections if hung near a light source.
